Martin Janacek is Managing Director of SAP Labs Czech Republic, R&D center in Brno, focused on developing, localization, and maintaining SAP solutions. Under his leadership, SAP Labs Czech Republic has more than tripled its employees. More than 500 software engineers now produce enterprise applications serving SAP customers worldwide.
Martin started at SAP headquarters in Germany in 2001 as a Software Developer and later worked in various roles as Consultant, ISO Auditor, Coach, and Development Manager. Before his career at SAP, Martin obtained a master’s degree in system engineering and informatics from Mendel’s university in Brno. He worked for the student organization AIESEC and led a non-profit yachting association. In his current role, and as a Brno patriot, Martin enjoys cooperation with the local ecosystem in #brnoregion.
