Skanska is building Port7, a vibrant new office center on the riverside of Prague’s Holešovice district

10.12.2021

Port7 aims to transform the former industrial zone at the Troja bridge into a new lively center of Holešovice, the city’s most progressive and developing neighborhood. Port7 will further enrich the place with a redeveloped riverbank with a pleasant park, cycling trail and a playground. The project will also include a piazza with shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes with a unique industrial feel. The greenery and the range of premium facilities will ensure that adults, children, and families will all find their favorite spot and enjoy the distinctive atmosphere of Port7. Apart from that, the project will offer premium office space with an unparalleled focus on sustainability.

Port7 was designed by the acclaimed DAM.architekti studio. The project will consist of three buildings, offering a total of 35,000 m2 of first-class office and retail space. Tenants and visitors will also find places to eat, rest and spend quality time with shops, restaurants, cafes, and bistros on the Port7 piazza located between the buildings. Users and guests will also benefit from a large public space. Apart from 2 hectares of park greenery, they will find a beautiful promenade along the riverfront. The whole center will be vibrant with energy, inviting you to gather with friends for a lunch or for a walk outside.

Tired of sitting at your desk all day? Port7 will offer a unique atmosphere where you can work beneath the trees or take a moment to relax in the sun.

In harmony with Skanska’s focus on sustainability, the project will conserve and help the environment during both its construction and subsequent operation. The use of modern technologies will reduce energy and drinking water consumption by up to 50%1. With its commitment to the health and well-being of its users, Port7 aims for LEED & WELL Platinum certifications. Those who enjoy various sports will appreciate the new Holešovice riverbank with a cycling trail and a planned boat rental. As the name implies, a harbour for small boats and vessels will be built along the Vltava riverbank.

Skanska began the construction in February 2021 with the planned completion by Q1 2023. The project is rising right next to the Holešovice train station, in the heart of one of Prague’s most progressive, vibrant, and dynamic districts.
