According to ABSL, an association bringing together Czech business services, the growing power of social media will lead to a number of new job roles. Around the year 2025 the social media is expected not only to dominate communication models but also to replace the traditional B2B communication tools. Most of the sales, marketing and communication with partners and suppliers is expected to take place over the social media. A number of new business processes will be possible to centralise and offer as a service.
New job roles within the field of social media, which will include content creators, community managers or social media data analysts, will require more than just a user knowledge of the environment. Depending on the job role the needed skills will include deeper technical knowledge or soft skills.
