The ABSL survey shows that Olomouc will play a key role in the development of the business services segment in the Czech Republic. This is mainly due to the strategic position of the city in the center of Moravia, its excellent transport links with major domestic and international centers, excellent office space, a highly qualified and educated workforce and significantly lower costs compared to the capital city.
More than 15 international business services centers, employing about 5000 people, operate in Olomouc. Due to the expected expansion the segment will become one of the most important employers in the Olomouc region. Not only the existing centers will grow, but according to ABSL, new investors are also interested in the region. They could help keep talented people in the region.
